Aidan has something to tell you!

"I'M THE BIG BROTHER!!!" says Aidan's shirt! (Well, big bro-to-be). We are due May 9th for Baby Baird #2! So far this one is giving me less nausea but more fatigue (though that might have something to do with now being the mother of a toddler and a resident!) We are so excited, though, and can't wait for Aidan to have a little brother or sister. We'll keep everyone posted!

Yes, I'm only ~13 weeks but clearly have a baby bump! No, it's not just "snacking" too much or having a beer belly.

And since I haven't gotten the chance to post since August, I thought I'd send along a few more pictures of our recent fun activities and what not...
Feeding hungry goats at Tilden Park in Berkeley

Riding the train at Tilden's Redwood Valley Railway
Playing with friend Julian at Crissy Beach

A visit from Auntie Janet and Uncle Dick Dwyer

Some recent artwork by Aidan

Two boys in Spiderman pajamas! Aidan's friend Julian came over for an evening.

Aidan and his friend Darren -his best bud at preschool

Aidan going on a pony ride at his first preschool field trip to a pumpkin patch

We even go to ride a big yellow bus there and back!

Aidan in his SF Giants Jersey (with whiskers from preschool face painting). We've watched nearly all the games. His favorite player is Buster Posey! We were all SO happy to see them win the World Series! Aidan's only question: "Why did they jump over the fence after the game instead of walking up the stairs?" Hard to explain just how excited they were.

Aidan just got his blue stripe in his Tang Soo Do class

Carving a pumpkin with Daddy!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT
Aidan with friends Charlotte, Delaney and Harper

The whole crew out trick-or-treating.
"NO MORE PICTURES!" say the kids!

The 3 (well, 4) Bairds. Aidan the chef, Mommy the hippy, Daddy as Brian Wilson (SF Giants Pitcher)

And of course, the night would not be complete without trick-or-treating at Nonny and Baba's!

Tuckered out at the end of the night!

And lastly, some recent "Aidanisms"

--"It was a couple whiles ago....'
--"Yes, dear." (gets this one from my parents)
--"What did you do at preschool, Aidan?" "Just sit around and twiddle my fingers"
--"When I was a little I used to..."
--"When I was a kid... now I'm a boy..."
