Merry Christmas!

We can't believe the last time we posted it was Thanksgiving, and now it's almost Christmas! Here are a few recent photos of Aidan, and a couple of videos too! (Singing "Away in the Manger" and spelling). Hope everyone has peaceful and happy holidays. Love, The Bairds

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

When Aidan heard the doorbell ring today, he asked, "Is that the pilgrims?" (It was actually Grampy).
We had been talking about the pilgrims while getting ready for Thanksgiving (though I didn't realize he actually thought the pilgrims, like Santa, would be coming to our house!). Aidan has been a big help with all the cooking. Here he is mashing the sweet potatoes, and adding marshmallows to the jello mix--avoiding the temptation to pop them in his mouth instead. This is for the Red and Yellow Jello(this was always Tara's favorite!). It's been fun getting ready to celebrate together. We are especially thankful this year for health and our many blessings, and as always for all of our family and friends--and will be thinking of everybody tomorrow!
With love,
The Bairds

Our recent trip to Riverside, and visitors to San Francisco!

We recently took a trip to Riverside and had a great time visiting friends and family. Below are pictures of my friend Amy and her kids Maddie and Jack, friends Darwin and Jane Hall in Laguna Beach, our cousins Kayla and Ashlee, the murder mystery party thrown by friends Amber and Alison, swimming at the Mission Inn, etc.... and this isn't even everybody--we had a huge dinner at the Spaghetti Factory with many, many cousins (one of cousin Kaylee is below)! We were also lucky to have visitors from Southern CA (my friend Darlyn and her son Dylan, as well as my mom's quilting group). And we're looking forward to more time with family (in San Francisco) on Thanksgiving. We definitely have a lot to be thankful for.

And back in San Francisco-- pics of Aidan with his best friend Natalie in the balls at My Gym, attending a Sippy Cups concert, and of course, enjoying a little treat at our local West Portal ice cream shop.

By special request from Emma in Sweden, I've posted two videos of Aidan singing and drumming.

Love to all!

A few of Aidan's favorite things...

Aidan and his best buddy Julian at a Train concert in Golden Gate Park
(Julian's daddy is touring with the band Train!)

Aidan and Julian climbing a tree at the park

and having fun swinging...

Building a tunnel for his trains (yes, with help from Daddy!)

At the SF Zoo, raking the hay at the petting farm. He raked for almost an hour!
We're gonna put this guy to work!

Ready to take the "Little Puffer" train at the zoo... again!

And attempting to tame his curls...

Just wanted to share some of Aidan's favorite things at age two and a half!

One tired little boy!

Tonight we had a barbeque and ate outside on our deck. Because Aidan had skipped a nap today, and played really hard with his friend Julian, he was extra tired. I noticed he was becoming pretty quiet during dinner (which is really unusual for him) and then his eyes started to droop. Soon enough, he was out. We were quick enough to catch it on camera--and video! What a crack-up! Honestly, he's making me pretty tired too and bed sounds pretty tempting!
