Tonight we had a barbeque and ate outside on our deck. Because Aidan had skipped a nap today, and played really hard with his friend Julian, he was extra tired. I noticed he was becoming pretty quiet during dinner (which is really unusual for him) and then his eyes started to droop. Soon enough, he was out. We were quick enough to catch it on camera--and video! What a crack-up! Honestly, he's making me pretty tired too and bed sounds pretty tempting!

Aidan is 2.5 years!
I am two and a half today!
We find it hard to believe that it has been two and a half years since Aidan entered our lives! It has been the best thing in the world to be his parents. Our favorite thing is just how sweet he really is... he loves to hug, pat, put his arm around you, snuggle, and of course we adore his funny personality... here are a few Aidan-isms from the last month:
"I love you a whole much!"
"Where'd the sun go?"
When doing a puzzle of the United States (his current favorite), Aidan insists the capital of Washington state is Olivia (his friend in Sweden), not Olympia!
And of course, "I'm not sleepy! No nap time!" (though he does still take a daily snooze) and in the mornings (usually 6am), "UP! I want to wake up!" So much for ever sleeping in again!!!
Love to all near and far...
thanks for being a part of our lives!
