December 25th 2008

We celebrated Christmas yesterday in San Francisco. Here are some of the highlights of our time together.
Aidan enjoyed his new Red Flyer wagon ride. Actually, my Dad spent hours restoring this -- it was mine when I was a child! It was all rusted over but he spiffed it up like new.
This was the best part of all... a drumset from Santa. Aidan LOVES it! We do too, except that we're realizing we'll need some extra tylenol around to ward off headaches!
Aidan is so used to taking pictures now that he just runs up to the tree, turns around and says "CHEESE!" without any prompting!

He has no problem showing off some of his new clothes!

And new art supplies!
Aidan especially liked his new policeman puppet...and James did quite a good job of playing the part.

Aidan was most surprised (read: SCARED) when Santa paid us a visit. You can tell from the very suspicious look on his face!!! He calmed down when we sang Jingle Bells though, and now can't stop talking about it!

And much more welcomed by Aidan than that stranger Santa were his grandparents. He is one loved little boy! Thanks to everyone for the presents they sent and love they shared. We missed seeing you for Christmas but are thinking of you always!

This is the replacement of Aidan's "Baby" website, since he's really no longer a baby anymore, but a big toddler boy.
