Easter, etc.

We recently made a trip to Riverside for Easter and had a great time with our friend Amy and her family. Here are some pictures from our playtime with her daughter Maddie and son Jackson. Her sister Rebecca is in the photo above. Aidan calls Maddie "Mad" for short... he loves nicknames. He misses her too- today he saw a little girl at the park who reminded him of her, and he said "Mad!!!" Here they are playing in Amy's front yard, feeding the ducks at Fairmount park, and also playing with the wooden train at cousin Winnie's house. We were happy to catch up with so many friends and family, and though the trip was short it was really fun.

Though he looks a little surprised here, it's because we broke his concentration from keeping the beat... he is really into drumming and singing now, and is especially proud of himself when he helps put all the instruments away!!! (We like that part too.)
