The best part of our last month was a trip to Seattle, WA where we went to celebrate my Uncle Dan's 75th birthday. We had a party at the Morris lot on Deer Lake on Whidbey Island (which brought back a lot of good memories from my own childhood vacations), walked on the beach, saw music performances, enjoyed good food, went hiking, and best of all, spent time with family from across the country-- from Hawaii to New York! Aidan really enjoyed it, and the morning after we returned, he woke up and said "Where's Uncle Dan's house?" He is expressing himself so much more (ie, while waiting in line " I wanna go! Wanna go now!") singing (everything from "I've Been Working on the Railroad" to "Itsy Bitsy Spider"), and has a great sense of humor (he can beat us in staring contests, subsitutes funny words to songs, teases, etc). It is awesome watching him grow, and a true joy watching him develop relationships with his extended family. Thank you to everyone for being a part of our lives.
